If there is a link anywhere on my site (or most places on the Internet, for that matter) to something that involves the transfer of money, I most likely get a commission if the user completes the required action (purchasing, subscribing, depositing). The way this is tracked is usually through cookies (see my privacy policy).  Clicking these links doesn’t harm you, it only redistributes some profit from the company that owns the product to me. In fact, in the case of rakeback and some bonuses, going through one of my affiliate links will get you a much better deal than if you went to the poker room website directly. Win – win. I do not accept compensation for any sort of editorial content and any suggestions and comparisons I make are of my own free opinion and will. It doesn’t matter to me which poker room you sign up at – they all have affiliate programs, and even though some affiliate programs are more profitable than others I still offer them all according to what I think is the value to the player. For example, Kickoff Poker and NoiQ are both Entraction skins. Kickoff pays a much higher commission than NoiQ, but there is no rake race and they do not have the same established reputation that NoiQ does. I link to NoiQ because it is a better choice for you, not for me. Ultimately, I believe it will be a better choice for me as well because it will foster goodwill and trust from my visitors. That being said, if there are two comparable products and one has an affiliate program and the other doesn’t, I will probably just mention the one with a program. This isn’t charity work, but I think the best business model is going to be to build a reputation of offering solid advice, not making fake reviews with “five stars” for the highest paying poker room. Nevertheless, it is important to make this information public so you can decide on the quality of my assessments for yourself.
