Looking to Play Microstakes Poker? Don’t know which site to pick? Look at my recommended sites list

There are so many sites, which poker room should I choose?

There is no single answer for this, so just sign up for a poker site and try it out. There are never any fees for joining a poker room and it is pretty easy to move money between poker sites, so just try one out and if you don’t like it you have lost nothing but a little bit of time. Read my detailed analysis about choosing the best poker site for you and rakeback and bonuses.

Is my money safe on a poker site?

If you stick to the sites I list above, almost certainly yes. On any poker site on earth? No. All of the poker sites listed are viewed by the poker community as trustworthy. Many of these companies are publicly traded in the European markets and this is noted if applicable in the reviews. I am a poker pro of more than three years and frequently read news related to the poker industry, so I consider myself highly informed, although I am not an industry insider or anything fancy. If something changes my opinion of the integrity of a poker room, you can bet it will disappear from this list as soon as possible. That being said, online poker is a young industry that sometimes operates at the margins of legitimacy. No poker account is as safe as your bank account. I cannot see the future and I am not responsible for your money if something goes wrong. Read my advertising disclaimer here.

How do I win on XXXX Poker Site?

While some sites are easier to win at than others, the difference will be small. The real question is “How do I play winning poker?” If you don’t have a solid track record of winning (be honest with yourself) at online poker or are completely new to the game definitely read my poker guide. It’s a long read but it has everything you need to know to win at big at online poker.

Why don’t any of these sites accept Americans?

I don’t list US facing poker rooms for combination of legal and risk reasons. Also, I am not interested in recommending operations that pose a real risk to players, especially when there are much safer options. If you are from anywhere other than the US, read about why it isn’t the best idea to play on a US facing poker site.  If you are from the USA, the major players in the market are Merge, Bodog, Cake and Everleaf. Do some Googling and you will find plenty of eager affiliates with offers for you.
