The NoiQ poker room is a skin on the Entraction Network. Entraction is a Swedish company founded in 2000, and trades publicly on the NASDAQ OMX. Entraction owns the 10th largest international poker network in the world. NoiQ is operated out of Malta under the regulation of the Lotteries and Gaming Authority. Malta is a member of the European Union, which means that any profits won on NoiQ are exempt from tax in certain European nations that tax non-EU and EU gambling income differently. NoiQ, and Entraction as a whole, uses the euro (€) for all poker tables, although you can manage your account in several different currencies
Rakeback and VIP Loyalty Program
On the Entraction network, rakeback is capped at 30%. NoiQ rakeback payments are issued monthly and are calculated using the weighted contributed method. If you sign up through links on this page, you will be entered into a $13,000 monthly rake race where you can earn cash bonuses based off of how much you rake compared to other players. In addition to the rakeback, NoiQ has a VIP program that can offer benefits of up to 45% of your rake back. This is only recommended for those raking several thousands euros a month, but should you reach this point, just e-mail NoiQ support, and they will help you switch plans.
Traffic and Timezones
The European evening is the most popular time on NoiQ poker, the peak hours are from about 16:00 to 1:00 in Western Europe. During this time, the Entraction network usually peaks at 2500-3000 real money cash game players. The overall average number is about 1300 players, with a lot more during the aforementioned times and significantly less during the early morning hours in Europe. This means this is a good choice for players in Europe who play during the late afternoons and evenings, or those from the Americas who frequently play during the morning or early afternoon.
Game Selection
The lowest stake of NLHE cash game offered is 4nl, followed by 10nl and 20nl. These games are softer than average due to the smaller size of the network and software that is not conducive to mass multitabling. NoiQ also runs a casino and sportsbook, which attracts some real punters into the poker room. The majority of the action is at no limit hold’em cash games and pot limit omaha cash games. These run to much higher stakes than a low stakes player needs to worry about, so there is plenty of room to grow. The tournament and sit’n'go action is not as popular, but is suitable for low stakes players, and there are good promotional opportunities for mid stakes SNG grinders.
Software
The software at NoiQ is shared with the rest of the Entraction network and, unfortunately, it is not the best in the business. It’s also not the worst either. A thread on 2p2 dedicated to Entraction software improvement offers some insight. Basically, the main complaint is that the software is not very multitable friendly. The tables “steal focus” from the one you are on when your action comes up, and there is no time bank. The lobby interface also has few user friendliness issues. If you are looking to play 16 tables (number of tables you can play are unlimited on Entraction/NoiQ) this is not the place for you.
There are positive aspects to NoiQ software as well. The downloadable software is compatible with Windows, Macs and Linux – a rarity for a poker site. In addition, they offer no download poker software that can be played through any major web browser. This is very handy for when you want to play poker on a computer that you don’t want to download poker software to.
NoiQ Deposit Bonuses and Reload Bonuses
Signing up here will net you a bonus that matches your deposit at a 200% rate, up to €1000. The bonus clears at a rate of ten VIP points for each bonus euro and is released in increments of €10. A VIP point is earned when you contribute €.50 in rake. That means that for the duration of your bonus you will receive 20% of your rake back, in addition to the 30% rakeback you will already be receiving. The bonus expires after 50 days, so budget your playing time accordingly.
NoiQ sometimes offers reload bonuses to their player base, so if you aren’t depositing the full amount your first time, you likely haven’t missed out forever. Once you sign up, keep your eye out on the NoiQ website for reload bonuses and other promotions.
